The provision of a Shared Lives Service for adults aged 18 and over and for young adults aged 16 and over, who live in Highland, within the boundaries of The Highland Council area.

This will be either as a long term placement or as a regular caring arrangement to provide a short break for an unpaid carer.

The aims of the service are to deliver placements for the clients groups who have social care needs as follows:

-physical disabilities and/or sensory impairment

-learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions

-mental health needs or

-any combination of the above.
