Short description
The recommissioning of short-term home support services is for adults living at home, to support service users to live as independently as possible. The service will be a short term (up to 6 weeks) reablement services, giving Service Users the opportunity, assistance, and confidence to regain skills they may have lost. The service will support service users to regain or develop confidence and improve daily living skills.The services support adults to remain living independently in their own homes and provide assistance to people and their carers. The service will be tendered in 8 Lots: • 6 x zones for day services delivery (paid on a block plus spot basis) – Lots 1 to 6• 2 x areas for mobile night carers delivery (paid for on a block basis) – lots 7 to 8 This procurement is for social care services which are considered Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

The contracting authority reserves the right to award contracts combining the following lots or groups of lots:
• A maximum of 2 x day zones (award from Lots 1 to 6)• A maximum of 1 x mobile night area (Lots 7 and 8)Award will be based on the highest-ranking supplier for each Lot. The Council reserves the right to award more than 3 Lots to a single provider in the event that there are not sufficient compliant tenders to meet demand.
