Reablement Service in East Lancashire

The Authority intends to commission a Reablement Service in East Lancashire.

The contract term is 57 weeks. The estimated value of the contract is £1,600,000 – £2,000,000.

The successful Tenderer will be paid on a Block Contract arrangement. The Block Contract guarantees payment for a specific number of Service Users for the successful Tenderer. Please see the Service Specification for further information on the Block Number of Service Users to be supported per week, the Authority may increase the Block Number of Service Users where required.

The tender can be found on the authority’s oracle sourcing portal under the RFQ Number: 15277105. Amended versions of the tender are denoted at the end of the RFQ Number by a comma followed by an amendment number. Search results should display any and all amended versions of the tender. The latest version is determined as being the RFQ Number with the highest amendment number. You may only make a submission against the latest amendment. Where you have made a submission against a tender that is subsequently amended you will be required to resubmit prior to the submission deadline.

This contract is intended to be for 57 weeks from 7 July 2021 until 9 August 2022,

 Main features of the award procedure

The award criteria weighting will be made up of 60% quality criteria, 10% of which will be social value criteria, and 40% price criteria.

The social value criteria includes reducing the carbon footprint, consideration of the employment needs within the local community and reducing social isolation of service users.
